These are three of the most traditional waterfalls in the Serra do Cipó National Park, in a beautiful region to connect with nature and enjoy the local biodiversity and the delicious waters of Cipó!

Tips

The entrance is through the Retiro Gate of the Serra do Cipó National Park. Protect yourself from the sun in the summer, as the trail is exposed to the weather almost entirely. Entrance is free.

Route

Although it is about 11 km (one way), it is a peaceful walk with no technical sections. The walk starts at the Retiro Entrance and goes for 6 km to the Gavião Waterfall. The trail is exposed to the weather for part of the time. Along the way, hikers pass two points with abundant water. Then the trail continues for another 1.5 km to the Tombador Waterfall, with a section also exposed to the sun. To reach the Andorinha Waterfall, the trail is about 1 km. At the Tombador and Andorinha Waterfalls, one must add the round trip to the attractions - 3 km + 2 km, making the round trip to the three waterfalls from the Entrance about 11 km. The place has stunning scenic beauty in addition to direct contact with nature, experiencing the biome, fauna, and flora of the region. Every step on this trail is worth it!
