Trilha Castália x Guapiaçu (São Miguel)
.jpg)

Description
An old path that connects Castália to Guapiaçu, ending by passing the house of Cabral. According to a resident and grandson of one of the pioneers, this path was made by his grandfather Liberalino and Francisco Cabral. It is said that Cabral received a sum of money and decided to build a house in this location; according to the record, Cabral himself manually constructed most of the house using rustic tools of the time. The trail is difficult to navigate, as it is very rarely traveled, and it was necessary to clear it since most of it is overgrown. The route has several water points, requiring crossings of tributaries several times.
GuidelinesTips
Bring water and food, a first-aid kit, a machete, and as a precaution, a long-sleeved shirt (it might be cold), gaiters, and follow a recent tracking route.
