Description

The Travessia do Rancho Caído links the upper part of the Parque Nacional do Itatiaia to the area of the Cachoeira do Escorrega, in Maromba, or the Cachoeira da Santa Clara, in the Visconde de Mauá area (RJ). It is one of the park's classic traverses, a unique experience in which you can see up close the differences between the biomes of this unique region of the Serra da Mantiqueira.
