Laguna de Los Tres e Laguna Capri - Fitz Roy

Description
The trail to Laguna de los Tres and Laguna Capri is the most famous and iconic in El Chaltén, in Argentine Patagonia, serving as the main approach route to the imposing Mount Fitz Roy. The trail takes you to three attractions: Laguna Capri, located about 4 km from the start, a lagoon with blue waters surrounded by lenga forests, which offers the first major panoramic viewpoint of Fitz Roy. Mirador del Fitz Roy, an alternative route at the beginning that converges further along, focused on observing the main face of the mountain, and Laguna de los Tres, the endpoint of the trail, an intense turquoise glacial lagoon situated directly at the base of the vertical granite walls of Fitz Roy. Right next to it, walking along the ridge to the left, you can also see Laguna Sucia.
