Lagoa Azul do Apió Located in the community of Apió, a rural area of Augusto Corrêa, toward Serra do Piriá, on the Urumajó-Piriá section of the Trilha Amazônia Atlântica, the blue lagoon is on private property, but access is allowed for a symbolic fee of R$ 5.00. The price may vary depending on the visiting season. Lagoa Azul do Apió, as it is known in the region, has the characteristics of a spring, with crystal-clear water and a blue sheen, and it is surrounded and covered by Amazonian riparian forest.
