Cachoeira das Cariocas One of the attractions of the Trilha dos Cânions, Cachoeira das Cariocas is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the Chapada dos Veadeiros. With two main falls that split into several and a large pool for swimming, Cariocas is an almost obligatory stop and well worth it! The place has something for everyone: whether standing under the force of the water or sunbathing on the rocks around the pool, Cachoeira das Cariocas is a place to enjoy for a long time. The final stretch to the waterfall is a steep descent that requires attention and some physical fitness. From the entrance of Parque Nacional da Chapada dos Veadeiros, in Vila São Jorge, the trail to the waterfall is about 3.5 km long. Location of the Attraction
